- Conditions: Thrives in full to partial shade, preferring moist, well-drained soil, but is adaptable to various soil types.
- Hardiness: Tolerates light frosts and is ideal for underplanting in temperate, warm-temperate, and subtropical climates.
- Usage: Excellent for shade, footpaths, ponds, and hanging baskets. It can be a lawn alternative, but does not withstand high traffic.
- Maintenance: Low maintenance, but benefits from occasional trimming to encourage density and liquid fertilizer during the growing season.
